Bilingual anthology represents the verses of a hundred Russian poets of the XVII-XX centuries related to Moscow, Moscow life and Moscow realities of a time. In the poems of classics and contemporaries, three main thematic and stylistic lines are clearly drawn: ceremonial-pathetic, ironic-satirical and intimate lyrical. They all collected together are intertwined into a single “Moscow poetic text”, creating a convex and colorful image of our capital.
