12 secrets. Gold R.
Robert Gold cannot be called a novice writer, but before he always had a co -author, so “12 secrets” is his debut. The “sealed detective” is always exciting, but here the author expands the closed space where crimes and their investigations occur to the size of a small town. Residents of fictional Hudley, located near London, know each other well, and therefore even twenty years after the brutal murder of two teenagers this crime is vividly in the memory of citizens.
Ben Harper, a journalist-investigator and brother of one of the victims, independently tries to understand the motives of the tragedy, and the secrets of his neighbors and friends are revealed to him. Some of these secrets are so terrible that you involuntarily agree with the words of one of the heroes of the book: “A look into the past does not promise anything good.”
