777. Kabbalah Alistair Crowley. 2nd edition, corrected and supplemented by Crowley A.
The present, second edition presents a new, corrected translation of the famous book “777”, first published by the magician and mystic Alister Crowley (1875-1947) in 1909. This is a universal dictionary of ceremonial magic, oriental mysticism, comparative religious studies and symbolic systems. The Kabbalah was the key to it - the secret tradition of Judaism, which penetrated on Wednesday of the Christian mystics in Europe and gave life to many Western occult societies. Crowley outlined Kabbalah not as a “mysterious” and therefore obscure teachings of the Jews, but as a harmonious philosophical system of the European type, based on numbers. The book “777” is a unique classification system using the Kabbalistic Tree of Life, with examples and tables, with which you can analyze not only any esoteric system, but any phenomenon in general. Both traditional Kabbalistic methods of calculations and their critical analysis, and general discussions about the concept of number.
“Sefer Sephirot” is a useful dictionary of some Hebrew words, arranged in the order of increasing numerical meanings.
The second edition corrected all the mistakes and typos of the first edition, the amendments of J. Parsons were added and add -ons from the electronic edition of the book “777”.
This publication is supplemented by the preface by Gerald York and Israel Regardi for editions of 1955 and 1973 and previously not published essays “Notes on the Book of Genesis” Alan Bennett and “cherish” Alister Crowley.
