A book about the path of life. Aphorisms. Lao Tzu
“Book on the Way of Life” (Tao de Jing) is an outstanding monument of Chinese thought, the fundamental source of Taoism, although the appearance of the treatise and the personality of its author is shrouded in many legends and secrets. Each researcher finds in it something new, amazing depth and humanity, close to even the modern hectic world.
“Tao” - the path, the path of the universe, life and human perfection, permeating our entire existence. “DE”, in turn, the internal completeness, invisibly and firmly binding all living things. The truth of Lao Tzu is an action itself, thorough to complete disappointment and therefore as if inactive. Each of the 81 aphorisms of this treatise is comprehended not with the mind, but with the heart, calls for endless thought. And the purpose of reading the “Book on the Way of Life” is a return to pure, not amenable to the name of the relevance of life.
in the translation of the outstanding Chinesist Vladimir Malyavin.
