The story is based on the story told by Alex as a teenager who has put on a gang of peers, hunting robbery and violence. Leaving the sentence for murder, he becomes a participant in an experiment who must “cure” a cruel teenager.

the final of the novel remains open. Alex is sure that the youth will always rebel and each generation will repeat the same scenario. There is no real friendship, conscience, honor in society. The only tool that acts without fail is cruelty.
