The book is based on a course of lectures, which since 2012 have been given to students of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Moscow State University. M.V. Lomonosov. This course of lectures is new, it addresses deep and important issues that allow a visual representation and informal discussion. Keeping a high level of severity, the authors also tried not to miss the opportunity to show the beauty and visualization of the discussed geometric ideas and constructions. The book is intended for students of mechanical and mathematical specialties of universities, but a rather large part of the material is available to a wide range of readers, including high school students.
