A little prince. Planet of people. Saint-Exupery A. de
The work of Antoine de Saint-Exupery (1900–1944)-a French writer, poet and pilot knows the Russian reader in two small works: the storyteller “Little Prince” and the Roman-Estate “Planet of People”. The autobiographical essay on the pilots "Planet of People" (1939) Exupery devoted to one of his colleagues Henri Guillaume. Exupery himself at different times served as an ordinary in aviation troops, flew on postal lines, was the head of the airfield, a test pilot, and during the Second World War served in an aviation intelligence group. Therefore, he knew the life of pilots firsthand. “Little Prince” (1942) is a sad, lyrical and wise fairy tale about a person’s love and responsibility for everything that is expensive for him. The drawings in the book are made by the author himself and are no less famous than the book itself. "... all adults were at first children, only few of them remember this?" -believes A. de Saint-Exupery. In 1944, Exuperye went into flight for collecting intelligence agents to prepare an operation to land landing in southern France, occupied by the Nazis. The plane did not return to the base, and his pilot was declared missing.
