About all creatures - large and small. Harriot J.
with the luggage of fresh knowledge and diploma of the veterinarian, young James Harriot, is in Darrozubi, a small town lost among the hills of Yorkshire. No, the textbooks did not say a word about the realities of the English hinterland, the customs of local farmers and the genuine work of a veterinarian, whom Harriot so dreamed of. But no matter what ridiculous situations he falls, no matter what difficulties he encounters, he was always helped with a truly English sense of humor and endless love for animals. Alfred White (the true name of James Harriot) returned to his adventures as a novice veterinarian after several decades (he began to write at the age of 50). The collection of his funny and touching stories “On all creatures - large and small”, compiled from the first two books, was released in 1972 and was a huge success. This book was followed by others. Today, the name Harriot is known throughout the world, his works are popular with readers of different generations and are translated into dozens of languages. In Russian, the book was first published in 1985 in an abbreviated form, with the passage of individual fragments and chapters. This edition presents a full translation with restored bills.
