About all creatures, wise and amazing. Harriot J.
The publication presents the third collection of the English writer and veterinarian James Harriot, whose name today is known to readers around the world, and his works are translated into dozens of languages. In this book, the author again turns to ridiculous and infinitely touching stories about his four -legged patients - wise and amazing - and recalls the first years of his veterinary practice in Darrow, behind which are the features of Tirsk, where the world -famous James Harriot Museum is now located. In addition, the book also included stories about how, after a short family life, the young veterinarian was in the role of a newly-made pilot of the Royal Air Force of Great Britain and made his first independent flights.
In Russian, the book was first published in 1985 (as part of the collection “On all creatures - large and small”), with the passage of individual fragments and entire chapters. This edition publishes a full translation with restored bills.
