The monograph is devoted to the modern Anglo-American philosophy of law and, in particular, the theory of the famous American philosopher Ronald Miles Dvorkin (1931-2013)-one of the most famous critics of the positivist theory of G.L.A. Hart. In order to determine what place the philosophy of Dvorkin’s law occupies in the world of the Anglo-American tradition, the author explores modern philosophy of law (including its history and debate about the subject), as well as three main stages of the philosophy of Dvorkin's law (theory of legal principles of the early stage, the interpretivism of the average And the recognition of law as part of the political morality of the late stage), highlighting the main features of his theory and testing the main directions: legal positivism, legal realism, and the school of natural law.

The author comes to the conclusion that the philosophy of Dvorkin's law, although it contains the properties of the basic legal schools of the Anglo-American tradition, is a self-sufficient and peculiar interdisciplinary philosophical and legal concept, which can be designated as a “normative anti-positive theory”.

The book is addressed to specialists, students and the circle of readers, whose interests are related to the philosophy of law, political philosophy and jurisprudence.
