About poetry and prose. Nevglyadova E.
In the first part of the book of the famous St. Petersburg philologist E.V. Nevzglyadova and articles about Russian poetry - both classical and modern, in the second - an essay on prose. The articles and essays of this book took shape independently of each other (on the one hand, the “conversation” with Mandelstam, poets from Tyutchev to Brodsky, on the other - an essay on the whip of Hamsun and notes about Yuri Trifonov), but they are connected by a common approach. The lyrics are a special view of things, not only cordial, but close and intellectual. The ideology, which we are overfed in the modern world, is short -lived, and the durable is just the lyrics. She even when sad, gives joy. Both parts of the book are permeated with a lyrical attitude to the subject, which makes up their unusual feature and dignity.
Elena Nevzglyadova - a well -known St. Petersburg philologist, poet, author of the books: “Sound and meaning”, 1998 (North Palmyra Prize) ; "About the verse", 2005; "Blessed inheritance", 2013 (Pushkin medal); “Intonation theory of the Lady”, 2015. Articles and essays of different years dedicated to both poetry and prose, published in St. Petersburg and Moscow magazines. Her essays are original in that it is “one nature” with lyrics, spiritualized by feeling, and this applies not only to poetry, but also to the essay about prose (Leo Tolstoy, Chekhov, Gram Green, Yu. Trifonov, Knut Gamsun, called “forgotten poet ”).
