In the famous treatise “On the Face” of the Alexandrian philosopher Origen (c. 185 - c. 254), the experience of Christianity is generalized in the categories of Hellenic thought. It considers such issues as the place of the Holy Spirit in the Trinity, the resurrection of the dead, free will and the origin of the soul.

The commented translation from Latin was made by N. Petrov at the Kazan Theological Academy at the end of the 19th century.
