This book sets out the front -line memoirs of the Second World War officer Lev Nikolayevich Dyachkov.

The author reliably tells about the successes and failures of combat events, whose witness and participant was at the same time describing in detail the features of everyday military life.

The text of the memoirs includes fragments of diary entries that L. N. Dyachkov conducted during the war, and copies of the pages of his front -line “Political notebook” with a surviving wax seal.
