“On the psychology of the unconscious” is one of the most important works that reveals the main provisions of Jung’s analytical psychology.

The author gives a brief overview of the historical development of psychoanalysis, considers two approaches to the unconscious: sexual (psychoanalysis of Z. Freud) and Through the will to power (A. Adler's theory). Jung claims that Freud and Adler are generally right, but emphasizes the need to take into account the types of personality and temperaments, as well as the theory of archetypes.
