The treatise “On the War” of the German commander, military theorist and historian Karl Clausewitz had the greatest influence on the development of military thought of the 19th and twentieth centuries. It is rightfully considered a table book for each military leader. It is Klausvitsa who belong to many winged expressions, such as: "War is a continuation of politics by other means." Clausevits worked on his treatise from 1816 until his death in 1831.

The result was not only a military-historical review, created on the basis of personal experience and deep theoretical developments, but also a brilliant analysis of the political events of the past. Thoughts and statements of the famous military leader have not lost relevance today, after two hundred years.
