Ursula Le Guin - a classic of modern science fiction and the star of world literature, a laureate of many prestigious awards (including a nine -time winner of Hugo and a six -time “Neblyo”), the author of the Earth Morea and the Khaine cycle. One of the pillars of the so -called soft, humanitarian fiction, Le Guin paid great attention to the issues of sociology and psychology, intercultural conflicts, anthropology and mythology. This collection includes the best of its non -cycle works: the novels of the “millstone of the sky”, “the eye of heron” and “threshold”, as well as a representative retrospective of works of small form, from the debut story “April in Paris” (1962) to the farewell allegory “Benchy of Water” (2014).
