Soviet cinema of the 1960s-early 1990s gave us a galaxy of brilliant actors: O. Dal, A. Solonitsyn, R. Bykov, M. Kononov, Yu. Bogatyrev, V. Dvorzhetsky, G. Burkov, oh , Yankovsky, A. Abdulov... They brought to late Soviet films a new image of a person - living, natural, ambiguous, sometimes paradoxical. The fate of the actors themselves are ambiguous. If the viewer represents Solonitsyn as a philosopher and ascetic, Kononov as a simpleton, and Yankovsky as a dandy, then the book will see their more real characters.
