Acute pancreatitis: problems and ways to solve them. Clinical lectures
The reader is offered a conversation on one of the most dangerous diseases of urgent abdominal surgery - acute pancreatitis. The reverent thrill covers any clinician who has the honor to face a severe form of pancreatitis. The words of the epigraph on the cover fully convey these feelings; They were said half a century ago by the head of the topographic anatomy and operational surgery of the Rostov Medical Institute Associate Professor A. A. Golubev. The conversation with the reader was built in the form of lectures, which are based on the knowledge and skills of the team of the St. Petersburg City Pancreatological Center for 38 years of its existence. To make the conversation interesting, statistics are minimized. It is impossible to solve all problems: you solve one, there are still new two or three and so to infinity. The idea of the book is that the reader, having got acquainted with the problems of treatment of acute pancreatitis (lectures 1-9), thought together with the author about how to solve them, and how to participate in the reader himself. The last lecture is devoted to mental disorders in acute and chronic pancreatitis. The shortage of knowledge on this issue for practicing surgeons, on the one hand, and the increasing frequency of occurrence of psychosomatic pathology in clinical practice, on the other hand, forced the author to ask for relevant specialists to share knowledge on this issue. At the end of the book, national clinical recommendations “Diagnostics and Treatment of acute pancreatitis” were published, which were approved and recommended for practical use on October 8, 2015 at the XII Congress of Russian surgeons in Rostov-on-Don. The book is intended for students of medical universities, residents, surgeons, anesthesiologists-resuscitation, psychiatrists.
