The monograph is devoted to the problem of adaptation of a young teacher to pedagogical activity in the system "Agiturient - student - teacher". The first chapter of the monograph “The problem of studying the process of adaptation in modern science” discusses the axiological aspects of the adaptive process in the context of creating a psychologically safe educational environment for harmonious professional development of the individual and organizing the relationship of professional, psychological, social levels of adaptation. The authors explore the factors that determine the pace and stages of the adaptive process in pedagogical activity, and also answer the question: due to what psychological and pedagogical resources successful adaptation to pedagogical activity.

in the second chapter of the monograph “Methodological apparatus of research »The algorithm of empirical study of the phenomenon is presented, specific methods and methods are proposed. The third chapter “Empirical study of the adaptation of young teachers to pedagogical activity” prescribes the stages of professional adaptation, the role of pedagogical leadership in the adaptation of future teachers is indicated, groups with different levels of adaptation are described. At the end of the study, recommendations are proposed to all subjects of the educational process to optimize the qualitative entry of the personality into the professional environment. The empirical results and conclusions of the monograph can be used by school leaders, it, teachers' qualifications as methodological material for improving the efficiency of pedagogical activity and satisfaction with young teachers, as a factor in the stabilization of the staff of the education system.
