An unusually cheerful book by Mark Twain about the mischievous and cheerful little boy Tom Soyer and his friend Geklberry Finna. The main character --- Tom Sawyer is a schoolboy from a small town near the Mississippi River. He has neither mom nor dad, so Aunt Polly is engaged in his upbringing. A cheerful and inquisitive boy cannot spend the day without adventure. He runs away from the house, becomes a witness to the murder, manages to live on a uninhabited island, get lost in the cave, find a gangster treasure... Of course, the dreamer and a broken Tom Sawyer brings so much trouble to his loved ones, but he is a very kind, honest and cheerful little boy.
