The most striking work of ancient Roman large -format poetry, so subsequently surpassed by any Latin poet and appreciated in their homeland no lower than the Hellenes appreciated their national masterpieces “Iliad” and “Odyssey”. A work on which Virgil worked for 10 years - from 29 to 19 BC. According to legend, the emperor Octavian August himself acted by an unofficial customer, however, instead of the panegirists of the current government, the great poet preferred to turn to the myths who called the Romans of the Trojan hero Aeneas, the son of the goddess of Afrodita’s love from mortal anchis.
So, young And the brave Aeneus miraculously manages to break out of the flaming Troy taken by the Achaeans, taking with him a little son, an elderly father and a handful of devoted warriors. Ahead of him has a journey into an unknown wild land, which will once be called Italy. And in this journey, a lot awaits him: from passionate love to dizzying, dangerous adventures...
