Aiva magnificent (Henomeles). Spilling shrub of heights up to 1.5 m. It grows rapidly. Durable. The leaves are dark green, brilliant, reddish when blooming. Blooms in May simultaneously with the blooming of leaves. The flowers are dark red, 3-5 cm in diameter, collected in brushes for 2-6 pcs. The fruits are edible, ripen in early October. Dry -resistant.  It tolerates a haircut well. Frost -resistant, but in harsh winters they can freeze the ends of the shoots.

Location: photophilous, but tolerates easy shading.

Soil: prefers light, sour, rich in soil.

Use: used for single and group landings, the creation of borders, edges and stony slides.
