The Holy New Martyr Alexander is not an old man at all. A native of Orenburg, a student of medicine of Munich University, Alexander Schmorel, during the Second World War, became one of the organizers and active members of the German Resistance Group "White Rose". He was still 25 years old, when, according to the verdict of the Nazi court, he, together with his comrades, was executed...
