Alexander Macedonian. The romantic figure of Alexander of Macedon is almost the highest type of conqueror, which the story has ever seen. In contrast to Hannibal, Caesar, Friedrich to the Great and even Napoleon, Alexander was a kind, so to speak, an artist of his work, who had a final moment, even a practical result, retreated into the background before the internal impulse of creativity. Not looking for anything, not guided by any considerations of a material or ideal nature, he did not know any other motive for activity, except for the immense thirst for conquest, and did not see satisfaction anywhere, except in the most conquering process, in the exercise of his abilities. Aristotle. More than two thousand years have passed since Aristotle’s birth, but it is difficult to indicate the field of modern knowledge that would not be connected with his activity. Aristotle laid the foundation of such disciplines as logic, physics, politics and others. In addition to the greatest merits to science, he lived a long bright life, in which he, among other things, was a student of Plato, the teacher of Alexander the Great, the witness of dawn and the fall of the empire.
