The book about the creator of the most famous and respected reward on Earth - the Nobel Prize - wrote a Swedish writer and journalist Ingrid Karlberg. She traces the story of the life of Nobel and his family in detail, immersing us as much as possible in the era and its atmosphere, and for the first time concerns in detail the previously silent and taboo topics: the long -term secret novel by Alfred (who was never married, but always dreamed of family and home comfort) Austrian Sophie Hess, as well as those who followed his death of painful family disagreements regarding the will and institution of the award.
