Private detective Tatyana Ivanova is asked to figure out the causes of the gloomy condition of Alena Rakhimova. Her mother suspects that the girl was in a sect and therefore constantly depressed, sees everything in a negative light. Ivanova brilliantly copes with the task, but soon a cruel crime occurs in the Rakhimov family.
