This novel is a phantasmagoria. On its pages there are reality and fantasy, which has passed and real, tragic and funny. Among his heroes there are famous historical figures and people who are alive. The main characters of the novel are pensioners. In the life of each of them, the fate of the country that they built was reflected. Looking back at the path traveled, they often criticize the past and present. They believe that they have every right to do so, as participants and witnesses. Especially their assessments are harsh and uncompromising, when they call the traitors of the Motherland.

The author hopes that one of the read this book may ask themselves: "Are I a traitor?" Indeed, in the fateful time for the country, I took the position of a passive observer and thought about leaving abroad. Which I did, but then returned home. So who am I now? And what to call me?
