Planting bulbs in open ground should be mainly to sunny places or partial partial shade only after the threat of returning frosts disappears. 

In most regions of the Russian Federation, in the winter, Amarillis winter only as an indoor plant with a pronounced dormant period from the end of October to the beginning of February. After the end of flowering, the peduncles should be removed immediately, cutting them approximately at an altitude of 3-4 cm from its base from its base.

The peduncle immediately after the opening of the first flower can be safely cut and put in the water in a narrow high vase, it is advisable to update water every day. The duration of the flowering of each peduncle in the cut and on the bulb is almost the same, but at the same time you significantly reduce the exhaustion of the bulbs.
