Each of us has knows the song “My Bells” since childhood, everyone is able to sing at least the first verse of the romance “Accense of the Balm”. But if you ask about the author of the texts of these songs, almost anyone will attribute the authorship of the “bells” Tyutchev, and “among the noisy ball” will be attributed to Pushkin, although their author is Alexei Konstantinovich Tolstoy. A talented poet, more than 80 works of which were laid to the music of Tchaikovsky, Roman-Korsakov and other great domestic composers and became part of Russian culture literally at a subconscious level.
