Analytic geometry. 2nd edition, stereotypical. Lopshits A.M.

The attention of readers is proposed to the classical work of Soviet mathematics and teacher A. M. Lopshitsa, which is a textbook on analytical geometry. The main content and methods of analytical geometry are set out in the first four chapters, and the complete assimilation of this material is a necessary condition for further study of the subject. The author also used his methodological principles in pedagogy, trying to refrain from the “categorical suggestion” adopted in most textbooks of his time and bring the presentation to the form of “friendly conversation”.

The book, according to the author, was intended for students of the first courses of the physical and mathematical faculties of pedagogical institutions, as well as for independent study by students of the-commercials. It still retains relevance today and can be used in the educational process by students and teachers of physical, mathematical and pedagogical universities.
