Erich Fromm is the largest thinker of the twentieth century, one of the great cohort of “philosophers from psychology” and the spiritual leader of the Frankfurt sociological school.

In his book “Anatomy of human destructiveness”, Erich Fromm made an attempt to philosophical rethinking of the nature of aggressiveness and the destructive principle in man, society and in history, summarizing research on this issue in various fields of science, including history, paleontology, physiology and psychology.
