And the dawns here are quiet... Vasiliev B. L.
The story of B. Vasiliev “And the dawns here are quiet...” is based on real events and is one of the most soulful and tragic works about the Great Patriotic War. The war makes no differences. Age, gender, nationality - all are one and equal before a common misfortune. Five ordinary zenitic girls with different fate and characters and the old-hand foreman, clearly realizing that they are going to death, enter into an unequal battle with a detachment of German saboteurs and tragically die, trying to at least somehow interfere with the enemy and detain him. The heroes of the story commit a real feat, but it does not even fall into the reports of military events. Thousands of similar feats, which, unfortunately, were forgotten, led to the long -awaited victory in this terrible war. The story was written in memory of those who gave their lives, protecting their homeland.
The work is included in the school curriculum of extracurricular reading and is addressed to students of middle and senior school age.
The text of the work is presented without abbreviations and printed on good paper in large print. The book contains vivid illustrations.
The average format, hard binding and the slight weight of the publication make it convenient for the home or school library. Also, the book will not take up much space in the student’s backpack.
