Andersen tales

In 1890, Danish publisher E. Boyesen began a large -scale work - the publication of Andersen's fairy tales with new illustrations by Hans Tegner simultaneously in five languages, including Russian.

Andersen's publication with Tegner's illustrations, published in different countries and in different languages, brought the artist already world fame. In the person of Tegner, the world famous Danish storyteller first found equal to himself in the talent and fantasy of the illustrator, the drawings of which were appreciated throughout the world both connoisseurs of arts and artists.
