ANEMONA "ST. Bridget", district 5/6, 10 pcs, spring 2024
Anemones - grassy perennials with a fleshy rhizome or tuber. Depending on the species, they can reach a height of 10 to 150 cm. The flowers are single or collected in groups in loose umbrellas. Symmetric inflorescences are simple, with 5-20 petals. Cultural forms can be terry and semi -double. Most often, anemones multiply vegetatively: rhizomes, offspring and tubers. Many species require shelter for the winter or storage in cold weather at a positive temperature.
Enemon tubers are planted in April or May, or September -October. The distance between the plants is left at least 10-15 cm, since over time the roots grow strongly and can take up to 1 m² of area. They require moderate watering after planting - excess moisture can adversely affect the appearance of green sprouts.
