Animal Encyclopedia of the Moscow Zoo

This year, the Moscow Zoo celebrates its 155th anniversary. This holiday pushed the employees of the zoo and the editors of "Avantes" to create an unusual book, which we called "An animal encyclopedia. Moscow Zoo". She will talk about the most diverse representatives of the animal world, which can be seen today in our zoo. A separate article is devoted to each animal, which describes the lifestyle, habits and curious stories and facts associated with the content of animals, birds, amphibians and reptiles in the zoo.

The book presents not only rare and exotic animals, such as , an elephant, a tiger, an armadillo, but also widespread, recognizable, for example, a duck Ogary, Wolverine, Shinchilla. Employees of the Moscow Zoo, as well as biologists of Moscow State University, took an active part in the work on the book.
