Anna Frank's diary. Frank A.
This book cannot leave anyone indifferent. Having discarded us 75 years ago during the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands, Anna Frank’s diary will tell about how several Jewish families tried to survive in a secret shelter, hiding from the Gestapo. The day after day, the Jewish girl in her diary tells Kitty’s fictional friend everything that happens to her and other inhabitants of the shelter, writing down his most secret thoughts, sorrows and joys in him. Her children's life, by the will of adults, quickly became expensive, turning the girl’s diary into a significant document and into an indictment. The last entry in the diary was dated August 1, 1944, soon the Gestapo on denunciation arrested all the inhabitants of the shelter. The fate of Anna and her family is tragic - everyone died in a concentration camp, only one father of the girl Otto Franc miraculously managed to survive, after liberation from the concentration camp to return to the Netherlands and find a diary. In 1947, the records were published in a circulation of 3,000 copies. The diary was reprinted 6 times and was translated into 67 languages of the world. In 2009, Anna Frank's diary was recognized as the object of the Memory of the World UNESCO.
