The artist ASLE lives in Dulgue. Basically, he communicates only with his neighbor, a single fisherman with a donkey. Another Asle lives in Bjergvin. He is also an artist. Both ASLE are friends and in a sense are two versions of the same life.

In the first book of Septology, the master of “Slow Prose” by Yun Fosse retrospectively introduces us to both Asle's childhood. “Another name” is a story about memory, fjord, dangers and a neighbor who perished in the sea.
