Blok about the author: Walter M. Miller Jr. (1922-1996) is an American writer, author of the stories and novel “Anthem Libovitsa” (1960), awarded the Hugo Award and the reckoning the highest achievements of world fiction. During the war, Miller served in the crew of the bomber, who, by the fatal accident, destroyed the ancient Roman Catholic monastery in Italy. annotation on the book:

Civilization Dated many centuries ago. The harsh lands on which it is difficult to grow any crop. Harsh, with hatred related to everything new and incomprehensible, and worst of all - to scientists, carriers of knowledge - because they, in the general opinion, brought the world to the catastrophe. The inhabitants of the abbey, located in the desert in the south-west of the United States, have been undergoing painstaking work for centuries, collecting all available knowledge-books, records, oral traditions by crumbs and scraps. Someday this titanic work will revive civilization. But is it worth it to revive the world who sunk into oblivion?

What if any knowledge is fraught with fatal mistakes that inevitably leading humanity to death?
