Aortic surgery. Belov Yu.V., Komarov R.N.
The book is devoted to the problem of surgical treatment of pathology of the chest and thoracoabdominal aorta. Each of the three chapters reveals the most interesting and complex aspects of surgery of the ascending aorta, arc and the thoracoabdominal aorta. Actual anatomical data are presented. Operations are lit and justified with a different volume of damage to the ascending aorta: with or without the involvement of the aortic valve, the root of the aorta. The existing and proposed original method of prosthetics of the root of the aorta valve -containing conduit is considered. Modern data on the problem of valve -preserving operations and the reconstruction of the aortic valve from the patient’s own pericardium are set out. The methods of protecting the brain and internal organs during the aortic arcs, the results of their application and ways to improve the results, including patients with the spread of stratification to brachiocephalic arteries, were discussed. The risks of postoperative complications and aspects of the protection of internal organs during operations on the thoracoabdominal aorta are also shown.
Modern hybrid methods of treating arc diseases and thoracoabdominal aorta, including the open stage of the operation and the use of endovascular technologies, are examined in detail. The book is richly illustrated by original drawings and intraoperative photographs.
