Apocrypha. Acts of the twelve apostles
The Russian Church is recognized only by those sources that are reliable. Works that were not included in the main corps of biblical texts were written by the closest students of the apostles or themselves. They did not become canonical, since there was no enough evidence of their authenticity. In this collection of apocryphal works, the acts of the twelve closest disciples of Jesus Christ, called the apostles, are placed. Apocrypha tells about the miracles that they created by knowing God and believed in Him. They preached and helped the suffering. Their path was difficult and often unbearable, and they died for their faith, posthumously becoming the martyrs of Christ and thereby glorifying the name of their teacher.
