Alexander Isaevich Solzhenitsyn - an outstanding Russian writer, publicist, public figure, Nobel laureate in literature (“For moral power with which he continued the traditions of great Russian literature”, 1970), laureate of the State Prize of the Russian Federation for outstanding achievements in the field Humanitarian activities (2006), academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, “Conscience of Russia”. His first work, the story “One Day of Ivan Denisovich”, published in the “New World” in 1962, brought him worldwide glory. Then the stories “Matrenin Dvor”, “Case at the Kochetovka station”, “For the benefit of the case” and “Zakhar-Kalita” were released. The publications stopped on this. No more line in the USSR was printed, the writer's works went out in Samizdat and abroad. This edition presents works created by the writer in the 1990s. The reader who entered into a collection of stories and the baby will be able to get acquainted with the late work of A. I. Solzhenitsyn, to feel and reflect with the writer who divided the harsh fate of Russia in the twentieth century.
