The book is dedicated to the geopolitical struggle that has unfolded in the Arctic in recent decades. The key problems of the region are investigated: the international legal regime of the Arctic, approaches to the use of hydrocarbon resources, issues of shipping and international cooperation, ecology, the influence of climatic changes, and scientific research.
