Aristotle. Policy. Aristotle
Aristotle - an ancient Greek scientist, philosopher, founder of formal logic. The first to create a comprehensive philosophical system that covered all spheres of existence. His teaching is considered a generalizing and completing Greek philosophy. Aristotle's “politics” - one of the most important texts of ancient philosophy - is devoted to the construction of the state. The philosopher created it in adulthood, repeatedly finalizing the already written. The treatise acquired the current type during the life of Aristotle in Athens and teaching in Likea. At this point, he collected and analyzed the facts about different state systems and legislative devices that existed in his time and in the past. “Politics” has become the final work indicating the path to the rulers who strive to create an ideal state-political state. This publication included the first three books “Politicians”, as the most important thematically, the most significant in volume and constituting, in fact, the main content of this treatise, which remained incomplete. One of the most popular translations of “Politics” was made by Academician S. A. Zhabelev in 1911.
