Arthur Rekham is a representative of European illustrators of the late XIX-early XX centuries. The illustrated manuscript books of the old and New Testaments, the time of time and other religious publications contributed to an increase in interest in drawing and painting at the dawn of the occurrence of fine art. They complemented the text of a manuscript written by religious and mythological plots, making text with pictures more understandable.
