It is not known whether the heavens exist. It is not known whether Hell exists. Surely one can say only one thing: after death, a person falls into the intermary, where ashes and dust reign, and each object, thoughts or feelings from our reality has its own reflection. The mental images crawl here, demons of sudden death soar, many terrible creatures live who cannot be chosen to choose the name, and evil strives to take possession of the dead and can easily penetrate the world of the living, responding to someone else's hatred. This world exists according to its own laws, and only guides living in both realities can help souls go into another space, get out in a pillar of dazzling light. There is a cross here, and a crucified monk hangs on it, pierced by a thorough and doomed to eternal torment. The monk recognized the secret of reality, and therefore had to die, but managed to leave the will to his friend-conductor, who now would have to find out how the intermary actually arranges and what is beyond, because the fate of the living and the dead hang from this.
