In one of the Moscow theaters, inexplicable things are happening: it is not known where the actors disappear, which is why the performances are often in danger, and terrible legends go about the local recreation center. The police and sorcerers are powerless. The producer of the troupe turns to the private detective, George Grad, the famous mystical mystical puzzles, famous in “narrow circles”, the famous in “narrow circles”.

George is “introduced” into the troupe under the guise of an actor of the extras, but quite quickly finds out that the matter is far from as simple as it seemed at first. The brave hero will not to catch an unknown maniac: he is drawn into the confrontation of unknown forces fighting for the right to possess a mysterious object, which the servants of the stage call the “heart of the scene”. He has to decide the mystery of his fate and find out what his purpose actually is.
