Astilba Asseline Sister Teresa (Sister Teresa, Sister Theersa) is used in landscape design along with other low perennials. The plant is very popular, because it looks spectacular, but it practically does not need care and can take root in any climate.

This plant is excellent honey plant. A grassy plant with sprawling stems and a powerful root system. The inflorescences are cystic -shaped, located on thick stems and rise above the level of the leaves. The height does not exceed 50 centimeters, the width is about 25 centimeters.

the plant is frost -resistant and does not need shelter for the winter. The exception is the regions where the temperature in the winter can drop below -30 degrees Celsius.

Nevertheless, many gardeners advise to cover young plants for the winter.

Astilba does not tolerate the droughts and dry air.

The soil ideally should be fresh and well drained, but the Astilbes take root well on any soils. It is very important that the soil is moisturized - the plant develops perfectly on the banks of water bodies and tolerates low sample of groundwater.
