Astra is shrubby: a perennial herbaceous plant with erect, very branched, pubescent stems up to 50cm high, forming almost hemispherical bushes. The leaves are sedentary, lanceolate, dark green, numerous. It blooms very abundantly in August-September 35-40 days. Type of frost. Under good growing conditions, large areas can cover. With cheese and cold summer, flowering is reduced. Propagated by division of the bush (often in the spring), underground rooted shoots, cuttings. Christina: height 30 cm. Blooms with white flowers in September-October. Location: sunny, warm place. Soil: prefers fresh, fertilized soils, does not tolerate heavy and dry soils! Using: they look beautiful in group plantings on lawns, rocky areas and slides, suitable for cuts, especially tall varieties.
