The photophilous exclusively frost -resistant perennial 65 cm high. The stems are strong, slightly pubescent. Inflorescences-single baskets 6-8 cm in diameter, purple-blue. Sowing for seedlings in March, in open ground in the spring in the earliest stages, to a depth of 0.5 cm. Plant in a permanent place at the end of May, to the distance between plants 25-30 cm. It blooms in the late May-Middle of June in the second year. It can be propagated by the division of the bush, as well as ground shoots.
