The elders whose teachings are placed in this book were people who devoted themselves to the Church without any personal ambitious interests. They carried a great feat, strictly following the will of God, and all their lives were in abuse with the devil. From this constant feat, they have made a multi -value experience, which with humility was offered to their brethren. The elders spiritually helped souls striving for good. They were guidebooks to true piety, expressors of the will of God, comforters dejected at an hour, when confusion in the minds reigned around. In a word, they were people of business, not theory, and therefore their spirituality was deep and obvious.
